Firewall Power

[edit]

The term “firewall power” is also used in aviation. I am unsure of the entomology of this term, but I believe it refers to calling for emergency power from the aircraft engines in civil aviation. Perhaps it may be similar to “maximum thrust” or “go around power”. I’m not sure if the term should be included in this article or perhaps linked to another. It would also be helpful to know exactly what this power level entails and the conditions under which it would be applied. The participation of anyone with necessary knowledge or documentation would be highly appreciated.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.235.68.109 (talk) 00:10, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
