Hi Bgsu98.

I see you've successfully worked on several other GA Ice Skating articles. I've had a look at them and compared them to this and they look very similar which is a good thing. I have found a few things that I would like to query with you, but nothing major so here we go.

The article is well written, but the very first sentence jars for me a little bit. Normally it would be The Finlandia Trophy is or was. I get it's a little complicated here with the trophy name basically transferred to the Grand Prix but it doesn't look grammatically right to me as it is?

• That was just a typo and has been fixed.

The highlight duplicate link tool found this, I'm not sure the second link to the Grand Prix of Finland is necessary again so quickly.

Finland was chosen to host the replacement event: the Grand Prix of Espoo. Finland hosted both the Grand Prix of Espoo and the Finlandia Trophy in 2022 and 2023, but beginning in 2024, Skating Finland chose to focus its resources on the Grand Prix event, to which it bestowed the Finlandia Trophy name.

In the lede - Beginning in 2022, Finland also hosted an ISU Grand Prix competition – the Grand Prix of Finland. The link says the event began in 2018.

• The 2018 event was a one-time replacement for the Cup of China. The Grand Prix of Finland didn't become a permanent event until 2022.

1996 Ladies Silver medalist. Julia Vorobieva. Also spelt like this in the source, the table has Yulia?

In 2004, Finnish women did a 1-2-3 finish, is this worth adding?

• None of the other skating articles included information about podium sweeps.

Is prize money awarded? If so how much?

• There might be, but this document does not provide any details beyond the points awarded.

Covid cancellation could have "due to travel restrictions imposed by the Finnish government" added. Lots of events - French Open Tennis for example, were simply played in the Autumn.

Hi, Thanks for making some alterations. With regards to the Beginning in 2022..... query, I still think it could be misinterpreted (as I have done) but this can be rectified by the addition of the word annual so it would be Beginning in 2022, Finland also hosted an annual ISU Grand Prix competition. I don't think this would affect readability.
