What happened to Red Steer? There's a Wikipedia article... I remember they had a kids meal in a red and white barn shaped box, sometime around when McDonald's introduced the Happy Meal. They also tried to emulate the eastern mini-burgers (White Castle and Crystal Burger) with "Lil' Pardners". IIRC, their hamburgers were made exclusively with Holstein beef, supposedly only from the red variety. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holstein_(cattle)#Red_and_White_Holsteins Red Steer was everywhere in the Boise/Meridian/Nampa/Caldwell Idaho area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bizzybody (talk • contribs) 08:37, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
