Contested statement about vestigial 2nd and 3rd coccygeal nerves
[edit]I found a Google preview of a book which also claims that there are such vestigial nerve fibres in the filum terminale:

- Since it was in the text of the public domain edition of Gray's anatomy, this was never really in question, but I did source it to a modern edition. BiologicalMe (talk) 22:30, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
