Map interpretation
[edit]This part in History
"A map of Malta dating back to 1798 shows a fort, a lighthouse and a monastery with a chapel on Filfla."
is in my opinion a wrong interpretation of the map. The article in the times of Malta gives this erroneous interpretation. Although it seems to be associated with Filfla it represents the general legend of the map. It is the only legend of the map. On Fifla itself only the lighthouse symbol is drawn. But to my knowledge no other sources refer to a lighthouse. Only a chapel is known to have existed there.
