Requested audio

I have added an audio example to the article. Hyacinth (talk) 20:46, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect info

[edit]

The whole last portion is just all kinds of wrong, and should simply be deleted. 16va is not simply considered to be incorrect by some--it *is* incorrect. Consult the New Grove DOM Online. These are the types of articles that give this site a bad name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.183.235.172 (talk) 01:44, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Criticism without thanks or suggestions for improvement is exactly the kind of comment that gives Wikipedia talk pages a bad name. Hyacinth (talk) 06:06, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

16va

[edit]

If you're going to say 8va (as in "one octave"), as EVERYONE accepts, instead of "7va" (counting notes), then most musicians expect "16va" (as in "two octaves"), instead of "14va" (NOT "15va"), counting notes. 68.196.1.236 (talk) 07:40, 14 March 2021 (UTC)captcrisisReply
