Lucrezia Borgia

Is Lucretia Borgia really notorious? Maybe she was in 1911 when the Encyclopaedia Britannica spoke of her, but better evidence is available nowadays.--Seamus O'Halloran 07:35, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

She still is in Italy as an exemple of Femme Fatale, I can't say in the English speaking countries--Robyvecchio (talk) 13:59, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Lucrezia Borgia (not Lucretia Borgia) was definitely an important historical figure and there is evidence about her. She is not a myth. She was the daughter of Rodrigo Borgia, also known as pope Alexander VI.

Local dishes

I added a section about typical dishes from the town: for some of the dishes there is not a wiki entry yet but many are mentioned in the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Italian_dishes. I do not know how to make a link with that. Could anyone help? Thanks Bpelucchi (talk) 16:39, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

As of now I can see several local dishes named in the article.

Unclear expression and multiple use of flags

This was an interesting article which I found fairly well organized. I made some minor improvements to the text and the layout. I have a few questions.

1. "Palazzo Schifanoia ("sans souci")".

The words "san souci" don't mean anything to me. Can anybody explain?

2. Under the twin towns/sister cities why should Gießen and Kaufbeuren have two flags when all other cities have one?

Source and date for the palio

This page says that the palio dates back to 1279. It has two links that are both dead so they provide no information. I checked the versions of this article in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. I only see one source in the version in Portuguese with a text in English that points to the date 1259: https://www.ft.com/content/a133716a-b0fa-11e3-bbd4-00144feab7de.

I add another source, this one in Italian, that mentions 1279 as the official date of the first palio: https://www.paliodiferrara.it/il-palio-di-ferrara-la-storia.
