Question
[edit]What is the cooling rate of Felsite?
Only volcanic?
[edit]Felsite in my experience is used to describe fine-grained extrusive and intrusive rocks of broadly granitic (i.e. felsic) composition. Examples of intrusive felsite include - the Loch Ba Felsite and the Geysers plutonic complex. Le Maitre refers to felsite as a microcrystalline rock of granitic composition, without any comment on its occurrence. Mikenorton (talk) 23:02, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
