"Period Characteristics" section - name of African American character Willie Best character redubbed "Charlie" over "Charcoal" in 1962 reissue

I have just compared two versions of "Feet First" on YouTube, one from the original 1930 release and the other excerpted in the 1962 compilation film Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy. Yes, it is true that in the original 1930 version, Harold Lloyd's character called Willie Best's African-American character "Charcoal", and when the sequence was excerpted in the 1962 film, Harold Lloyd overdubbed it with "Charlie". Does anyone know of a reliable reference book or online source to provide an inline citation for that? It's a credit to Mr. Lloyd that he was wise enough to change that in the 1960s, since that humor was an unfortunate product of the times.
