Accuracy issues

[edit]

First, this place actually existed, but there are issues regarding the sourcing. The citations 7-10 are accessible online, and none of them refer to this as a kingdom, although #9 refers to it as a Sultanate, while the others refer to it as a province, a place with a governor (which would indicate not a kingdom), and a plain, although a plain with a ruler. There is also a question of the actual name, since all 4 of them refer to place as "Fetegar", rather than Fatager. In searching on Google Books, I can't find any information on the books listed, so there is no way to check them out.Onel5969 TT me 03:16, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fatagar location

[edit]

The references on Fatagar are not clear some state fatagar is in the north around Wollo Province while others indicate the south west of modern Ethiopia. It appears it may indicate just west of Awash River and since the Awash river is pretty long moving south, a large geographic area. Magherbin (talk) 17:53, 18 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
