Are you sure it isn't potentially 4096? There's a 12 bit overlap between the segment and the offset. $2^{12}=4096$. Egriffin (talk) 18:00, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Include near/huge pointers

Would be nice if this stub article could be padded with more information, perhaps about near and huge pointers, or made more generic by changing to ex. "Pointer sizes" / "Types of pointers". 104.228.101.152 (talk) 14:03, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
