History

Fangda Partners was established in Shanghai in 1993. It subsequently expanded its presence to other major commercial and financial centres in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Singapore.

In 2024, Fangda opened an office in Singapore, its first office outside China. Fangda → Fangda Partners – “Fangda Partners” is the firm’s complete and official English name and is the name consistently used by independent legal-industry sources, including Chambers and Partners, The Lawyer, Asian Legal Business and IFLR.
