[edit]As length was a primary contributor to the loss of FA status, ideas to flesh this out include a discussion of ink colors (including why some inks are substantially less common), and, most notably, a discussion of the markings of the New York Foreign Mail, which are well-known, distinctive, and entirely lacking from the article at current.
