That Fan Hir lies within the modern county of Powys is useful information for readers. Of course it lay within the traditional county of Brecknockshire but modern maps do not show the old counties - the lead administrative area mentioned should be Powys otherwise it looks simply like a campaign piece for the traditional counties and Wikipedia is not the place for that. By all means let's celebrate them elsewhere (I for one, have a fondness for them), and they rightly have their pages linked to the modern administrative areas, but ceremonial and certain other purposes apart, they are now of historical interest whereas with an article such as this we are dealing principally with geography. cheers Geopersona (talk) 07:24, 1 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
