Reputable uses

[edit]

Early on Monday, July 17, 2017, I heard on Bloomberg Radio (Asia/China radio) the use of the term 'false neighbors' in a sense which didn't match this use of the term 'false neighbors'. Is there any other already accepted use of the term?

Might I also ask, is there a use of the term 'false neighbors' for those who profess to be geographic neighbors but who are not neighbors, as in some more recently-developed social media, such as in opportunistic uses in Nextdoor.com? If governments know (through census methods), why aren't we offered an article in Wikipedia about how we could describe our nearest next door neighbors?
