False Scent → False Scent (novel) and False scent (style)— Article categorised only as the novel but most of it definies meaning in language and style guides. Since each are arguably of equal weight, move novel and others out to separate stubs and keep main title as DAB page.I think this needs to move to be a DAB page, or move the 'dictionary'. Not sure if move request is best place to ask-- can do it myself but wanted comments first. SimonTrew (talk) 12:36, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oppose as no longer necessary. You've already split out the language parts to false scent and marked them to be copied to Wiktionary. The remaining part of this article is only about the novel. You've put hatnotes on both. I think everything that needs to be done, has now been done. The novel's stub should remain at its title. Station1 (talk) 05:28, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Abstain. I am still not entirely happy with the two sharing a title differing only by case in one letter, but it is perhaps the best compromise. The transwiki has not completed and I wonder if this should stay here until it does, since obviously the false scent dictionary article can go speedy if it is fully transwiki'd, but if e.g. only the bare definition is transwiki'd we still need an article for the remainder. Unfortunately my 2nd Edition of Fowler is at work I only have 3rd here which is not satisfactory for this article. So abstain as interested party but just wanted to keep you all informed of progress. If you want to archive this discussion, I have nothing against you doing so, and will just do what I think best: there have been no comments on the articles' own talk pages.
