Inconsistent Genre Descriptions

[edit]

Article intro describes them as a rock band, but musical style section (which seems better-cited) describes them as primarily pop-punk. 2600:8806:6503:5B00:41C6:6528:13E5:6122 (talk) 10:39, 16 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

That's because pop-punk is a rock genre and so are the other genres in the infobox. The lead genre is supposed to be broad. That's why we don't describe them as a pop-punk band in the intro. They are more than just pop-punk so it's best to just describe them as a rock band in the intro. Bowling is life (talk) 13:48, 16 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

At the end of the "2008–2009: Folie à Deux" section, there is a sentence that reads "shaved Wentz's head in a move Andy Greene in Rolling Stone", with Andy Greene being linked to the page of ice hockey player Andy Greene. That is a different Andy Greene than the Rolling Stone writer Andy Greene, so the link should removed or fixed. 174.7.117.65 (talk) 08:22, 8 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Reassessment

[edit]

Can we assess this for an A class article? Itisi5 (talk) 15:52, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Belated, but to answer the question in case anyone ever wonders, music-related WikiProjects no longer participate in A-class assessment; my understanding is that they voted to opt out of that assessment some 15-16 years ago, which was before my time. There is only one remaining A-class music article; the others have been delisted from their GA status and thereby their A as well, never to return. In the present, the music sector recognizes A-class and GA class as basically one and the same. mftp dan oops 18:22, 29 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Edit Request: New Touring Member

[edit]

As announced on social media, lead guitarist Joe Trohman is taking a break from the band’s shows for the rest of the year due to surgery on his hand.

For their first performance since this announcement was made, Max Bernstein played in his place.

Can a verified user update the touring member section to reflect this addition? TapDatApp (talk) 22:43, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
