[edit]Does anyone have any problems with added the observations of Anastasi?
Face validity is not validity in the technical sense; it refers not to what the test actually measures, but to what it appears superficially to measure. Face validity pertains to whether the test “looks valid” to the examinees who take it, the administrative personnel who decide on its use, and other technically untrained observers.

Contrasted with or distinguished from
[edit]This article says that face validity is often "contrasted with" construct validity and content validity. Would it not be better to say that it is often distinguished from construct validity and content validity? Vorbee (talk) 16:22, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
