I think there's another way to make things simpler, especially since FX on Hulu is really just a Hulu hub now. It's merely the FX productions streamed instead of broadcast. Following Disney's possible reconfiguration of Hulu and Disney+, let's try to sort this out before it gets too convoluted. MegaSmike46 (talk) 00:23, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Is it for something related to this that they don't update the FX on Hulu programming list? Things like Class of '09 and Great Expectations are missing, miniseries for this 2023, I don't know if there's any other. Oswa.contreras (talk) 16:49, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Per Variety, it appears like FX on Hulu was quietly killed last year since all FX-branded shows (including new seasons) beginning with The Beauty now receive a "simultaneous" broadcast on the linear FX networks (FX / FXX), Hulu, and FX On Demand. The article seems to imply that there won't be any FX-branded series made specifically for Hulu anymore, and that all FX-branded series will now air on FX (or FXX), Hulu, and FX On Demand, evidenced by the fifth season of The Bear being the first returning FX on Hulu series to air "simultaneously" on FX. The "simultaneous" release strategy refers to premiering at the same time, but it looks like it's either all episodes on Hulu and FX On Demand while still airing weekly on the linear network (like the fifth season of The Bear and the second season of Adults) or weekly on both FX (or FXX) and Hulu (like The Beauty and Love Story). As part of this change, it looks like all FX-branded shows are now also Hulu originals since Welcome to Wrexham is now listed on the Hulu Originals hub and the fifth season uses the Hulu network bug instead of the FX bug, which is still used by the first four seasons.
