Shouldn't the Formel be $F_{ij}={\frac {HR_{ij}}{1-(R_{ij}/L_{max})^{2}}}$ instead of $F_{i}={\frac {HR_{i}}{1-(R/L_{max})^{2}}}$ ? Or should there be a difference between R and R_i?

Please include the model

The given spring force is a part of the derivation.

The actual useful model is the constitutive equation.
