Players - FIFA Eligibility

[edit]

The list of players includes many players who are listed with a "national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules."

Most of the flags are that of the Isle of Man. However, according to FIFA, the Isle of Man is not a member: https://www.fifa.com/about-fifa/associations so either the flags or the description should be corrected. Aujoz (talk) 14:03, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

That is correct, the Isle of Man is under the jurisdiction of the Football Association so the correct flag for footballers born in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands is England unless they have played for another national team which is the case for Kieran Tierney who was born in the Isle of Man but plays for Scotland.
