Points below sea level?

Geographic center

I have very strong doubts about Dunbarton, New Hampshire being the geographic center of New England. Look at it on Google Maps. You have all of Maine and most of New Hampshire to the north and east, which greatly outweighs Massachusetts and Connecticut to the south and west. This needs a more reliable source than Wiki Answers. I know the U.S. Geological Survey has calculated the geographic centers of every state, but I'm not aware that they've done regions such as New England. --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:09, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

Maine kinda being as big as it is draws the stuff closer, plus it doesn’t help that mass and the other states are not all that big ~2026-41370-23 (talk) 17:37, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
