King
[edit]How is the king not a special piece here? It's royal, after all, as losing it loses the game. So is the queen. Double sharp (talk) 14:22, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
- It means that the king can be captured, unlike in normal chess. That means that it is not illegal to move into check, or move through check when castling. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 16:49, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

- An interesting variant might be to treat the last of each kind of piece as royal (I would personally allow royal pieces to pass through, but not land on, attacked squares) and make the goal checkmate again. Double sharp (talk) 05:36, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
