How the switch works

How does the switch at the centre bypass station work? Does one train constantly go around the bypass while the other always goes in? Or are there latching systems on each tram that allow it to engage or disengage the drive cables? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.215.214.165 (talk) 19:34, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

One tram always travels straight while the other always travels through the bypass, regardless of direction. This means that the two sides of the central station alternate the directions of travel they serve, and rely on the automated announcement system to tell passengers which direction of service boards on each side of the platform. 42-BRT (talk) 18:02, 15 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
