Connection to pervaded volume

It has been suggested that this page be given a link to 'pervaded volume'. I don't think that this would be appropriate since the two terms really refer to completely different concepts that do not have a general link or similarity. Certainly the excluded volume effect has an influence on the average pervaded volume of a polymer. It would only be appropriate to link pervaded volume as part of a discussion on the effect of excluded volume on polymer conformation for instance.

Concept

Maybe I am missing something, but how did Werner Kuhn introduce the concept if it had been utilized preceding the date in which he had introduced it (e.g., in the van Der Waals equation)?
