- Basically a tax-advantaged partnership that you can buy into in exchange for a contribution of public securities. For example, you can put in MSFT shares and take out shares in the Russell 2000. This without getting taxed for selling your MSFT.
- In order to not be classified as an investment company, the government requires that at least 20% of the partnership's assets are held in an illiquid class, like real estate. So you're really getting diversity + management risk in exchange for your concentration risk. MacarioTala (talk) 18:51, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
The sections on Cache are adverts
[edit]The citations talking about Cache are lifted entirely from that company's website. This is a clear attempt to funnel traffic over there and give it legitimacy. The paragraphs are also separate, which has to be some type of dark design pattern. I vote to remove those. MacarioTala (talk) 18:46, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
