Rename article to “Human Euthanasia”

[edit]

This article should be renamed to “Human Euthanasia” to distinguish it from other forms of euthanasia; also to keep in style with Animal euthanasia. KraljLavova97 (talk) 03:19, 27 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Debate section

[edit]

How is “not all deaths are painful” an argument against euthanasia? In fact, I think that it’s an argument in favor of euthanasia when deaths not causing pain is less harmful than deaths causing pain? WikiGrower1 (talk) 23:04, 20 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Definition Section

[edit]

The "definition" section appears to be a borderline debate/ethics section. Skyeteam (talk) 16:41, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

The definition comes from ethics, so maybe that is the source of your concern? - Bilby (talk) 13:01, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but that should be in the ethics section, and the definition section should just have the most recent definition and it's reasoning/authors. Skyeteam (talk) 13:16, 13 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
As far as I know, there is no single most recent definition in the literature. - Bilby (talk) 20:47, 13 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Interesting....I guess we can't merely go with the most prominant definition either. Skyeteam (talk) 21:01, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
