September 2018 article recreate
[edit]Article re-create has issues: this is a content fork from a previous re-direct and likely does not do sufficient to avoid a re-presentation to AfD. This likely should be reverted to the re-direct unless the article recreator can losslessly and respectfully copy and integrate content from UK Rail Leasing#Europhoenix. The redirect is undone. The references on the content on the other article is disputed as original research and IP user has chosen not to merge and leave the WP:CFORK. It is therefore up to NPP to determine how to initially handle. I am concerned how an AfD or DRV reviews would treat this. I am happy for Europhoenix to have its own article, but concerned this incarnation may be deleted.Djm-leighpark (talk) 11:54, 15 September 2018 (UTC) a quick update to say on review I will certainly admit my citing for that section was rubbish for which I apologise, and is a valid reason for not merging content. I am concerned the article in its current state would be taken to AfD and even with improvements might be vulnerable (I think it has a case but the consensus may be different).Djm-leighpark (talk) 14:19, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
Following discussions on UK Rail Leasing#Europhoenix consensus was reached that Europhoenix was best moved from a section on UK Rail Leasing. To the best of my understanding the current article is a significant improvement on the pre-AfD incarnation (I can't recall if I have seen it or not) and there is an intent to improve it further.
