Translation

[edit]

Hi, can any moderator create empty scheme of this page? I want to translate it. Thanks.  Preceding unsigned comment added by C8bash (talkcontribs) 06:24, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@C8bash: If you want to translate information from some other language into English, and add it to this page, you can just do so; you don't need any help from somebody else (there aren't really moderators here, just a bunch of editors, and some editors who have administrative privileges).
If you want to translate it from English to another language, you need to create a page on the Wikipedia for the language into which you want to translate it, or, if there's already a page on that Wikipedia for it, add your translated information there. It should not be put on this page, as this page is on the English-language Wikipedia, and pages on the English-language Wikipedia should be in English. I suspect you want to go to https://tr.wikipedia.org and put your translation there; I don't see an "EulerOS" page there, so you'd have to create that page there. This topic needs to change name

[edit]

Since the project is no longer a Huawei project, now it is managed by OpenAtom foundation, there's no such thing as "EulerOS". We should change the name to "openEuler". Helenls95 (talk) 15:40, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

The project appears to have been handed to the OpenAtom Foundation in 2021.
Huawei's web site has a page entitled "EulerOS Overview".
Perhaps the relationship between openEuler and EulerOS is similar to the relationship that existed between OpenSolaris and Solaris, in which "openEuler" is the open-source OS and "EulerOS" is the commercial OS, based on openEuler, but perhaps with non-open-source components as well.
