Academic status of solvers
[edit]Postgraduates? I think you'll find that they both have doctorates. Selby had been a Fellow at New Hall before giving up mathematics, not long before all this. BTW I wrote an article, on which the Wainwright Plus one was partly based. (Selby, Riordan, Wainwright are all friends of mine.) That is now at Charles Matthews 13:03, 6 May 2004 (UTC)
