According to Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary#Construction, there was no [significant] construction work on Alcatraz between 1912 and 1933, the year when the U.S. Army gave up control of the island. That is inconsistent with the statement, in this article, that "Richards lived on Alcatraz Island [from 1912] until 1920 while her father worked on the construction of Alcatraz Prison". -- John Broughton(♫♫)21:08, 13 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
