In the plot section, Tarrant on Wiki correctly references that 'Kabul' was included in the official synopsis provided to the Venice Film Festival. However, the synopsis contradicts Skolimowski's own statements to Film New Europe ( http://www.filmneweurope.com/news/poland/fne-venice-iff-2010-interview-with-jerzy-skolimowski ) and others that the location of capture (and the character's origins) as well as the location of escape were meant to be "enigmatic, camouflaged" and "I don't even say whether the film starts in Afghanistan, Iraq or maybe some other place, whether it's an American military base, where the prisoners are kept, whether it's situated in any of those countries."

Hence, while the quoted synopsis was official, it appears not to reflect the intent of the writer/director so I removed the specific location reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.27.194.29 (talk) 09:38, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
