Really Epiphytes?

The page claims (since its inception) that Ericoidae are epiphytes. That is to the best of my knowledge (I would say obviously) not correct, e.g., Rhododendron grow on the ground and not epiphytically on trees. Maybe there was an intent to refer to ECM (Ectomycorrhizae)??? -- 216.83.13.5 (talk) 17:03, 19 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
