Lead

• Can you expand a bit on his pitching style in the lead? It just seems a bit short. Maybe add a fact about his fastball from the pitching style section? So it would look like: Surkamp batted and threw left-handed with his fastball averaging 89 miles per hour.
• Can you WL Bachelor of Science?

Amateur career

• I feel this is a bit of a weird title since it discusses his birthday and who he admired growing up. Could this be retitled "Early life and amateur career" or is that too long?
• Who are his parents?
  • I couldn't find any info about them, even in the high school articles or the MLB bio, both places you'd think would include it. Sorry! Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 00:06, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
