I recall reading in Who's Who and in local newspapers about Eric Miles' last years as my family used to live near where he retired to. According to Who's Who his home was a house called Rope Walk on Lyth Hill near Shrewsbury but he did not die there. He was reported in Shropshire newspapers (I will try to look up at Shropshire Archives when I next get chance) to have died at a place called the Brookfield Nursing Home at Newport in Shropshire.Cloptonson (talk) 18:04, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
