Mythology?

This article cites no myth directly. Given that this word is Latin, an origin in Greek myth is impossible, unless there's an earlier Greek name (Polos?), but again that's not cited. The entry for the word in Logeion cites no myth. Proposed addition: NOIRLab annotated image of Equuleus

Hello, I am affiliated with NSF NOIRLab and I would like to propose an additive change to this article for community review. To be clear up front: this proposal does not remove any existing image. The current naked-eye photograph (File:EquuleusCC.jpg) would be preserved in a new gallery section at the end of the article. The proposal adds a labeled wide-field astrophotograph that complements, rather than replaces, the existing visual content.

• Proposed change: Add the NOIRLab annotated wide-field image of Equuleus to the Features section in the left-side image slot currently occupied by File:EquuleusCC.jpg, and relocate File:EquuleusCC.jpg to a new gallery section at the end of the article (the article currently has no gallery). The right-side image (File:Equuleus 20191202.jpg) and the infobox sky chart are not affected.

• Layout rationale: The Features section is short and already contains two stacked images on opposite sides plus the adjacent infobox chart. Adding a third image to the same section would create visual imbalance, with images extending well below the available prose. Replacing the position of File:EquuleusCC.jpg while preserving it in a gallery keeps both image types available to readers (naked-eye impression and labeled identification reference) without crowding the section. Equuleus is the second-smallest constellation and the article is correspondingly compact, which is why a gallery relocation is the cleaner option here.
• Justification: The annotated image illustrates the IAU constellation boundaries, the conventional stick figure, and the identifications of the brightest stars discussed in the "Stars" subsection (α, γ, δ, ε Equulei). It provides a labeled identification reference that the existing images do not, while the naked-eye photograph continues to convey the visual appearance of the constellation in the sky.

If the community would prefer not to introduce a single-image gallery, an equally acceptable variant would be to keep File:EquuleusCC.jpg in its current Features-section position and decline the annotated image addition entirely — I would rather withdraw than create a layout that reviewers find awkward.

I welcome any feedback. If reviewers prefer, I am happy to (1) adjust the caption wording, (2) replace the external link in the caption with a `<ref>` citation to the NOIRLab 88 Constellations page instead of an inline external link, or (3) withdraw the proposal entirely if the consensus is that the article reads better as it currently stands.
