- We acknowledge that the remaining programme tables (Enterprise

- We are continuing to source independent coverage for those figures

- Hi, I just wanted to follow up politely on our resubmission from 16 April 2026, where we provided HapaKenya as an independent source
- confirming the Wings to Fly and Elimu figures. Please let us know if you need any further information. Thank you for your patience. ~~~~ MtKenyaReader (talk) 12:33, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- When trying to access the HapaKenya website, my VPN's phishing protections are activated; consequently I'm not able to access the site. That security concern was also expressed through another check of the HapaKenya site performed by the SSL/TLS Trust (see my reply post below for additional information about this check). [edit]- I'm afraid I'm not able to access the HapaKenya website, which triggers phishing protections.
- A check of the HapaKenya website through SSL/TLS Trust Web Check flagged the website for malware by 3 security software providers (Webroot, CRDF, and AlphaMountain).
- The security of that website notwithstanding, the requested additions to the article seem promotional in nature. (See WP:NOBLECAUSE.)
Regards, Spintendo 17:08, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the feedback. We acknowledge the concerns regarding
- the HapaKenya source and will replace it entirely with the
- following independent sources from The Star, a well-established
- Kenyan national newspaper.
- Replacement independent sources for Education figures:
- The Star (February 2026):
- "Equity Bank selects 733 students for 2026 Equity Leaders Programme"
- This independently confirms the following figures:
- Equity Leaders Program university scholars to date: 10,505
- Students admitted to top global universities including Ivy
- This independently confirms the following figures:
- League institutions: 1,115
- The Star (March 2026):
- "Equity Bank becomes first Kenyan bank to join Africa's top 10 – report"
- This independently confirms Equity Group's financial and
- brand performance figures.
- Regarding the WP:NOBLECAUSE concern, we accept this feedback
- and are happy to reframe any language that appears promotional
- to ensure a neutral encyclopaedic tone. Specifically, we propose
- revising the Overview section as follows:
- Current proposed text:
- Through their Wings to Fly and Elimu programs, Equity Group
- Foundation has been able to fund 60,009 students since inception.Through their Wings to Fly and Elimu programs, Equity Group
- This is a factual statement sourced from The Star and does not
- contain promotional language. We are happy to remove any
- additional language from the Focus areas tables that the editor
- considers promotional.
- Could you advise which specific additions are considered
- promotional so we can revise accordingly before resubmitting?
- Thank you for your patience. MtKenyaReader (talk) 13:55, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
