It's ok to still discuss even though someone has opposed your request. Would you like to explain what your reasoning was? Why did/do you believe that Epic poem is primary? -- Fyrael (talk) 04:42, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

I concluded this because it is so in my native and some other languages, e.g., in German: de:epos. In English it seems the word is wikt:epic, i.e., "epos" is a "false friend". However as I see, it is not at all evident even for me that Epic poem is the primary meaning for Epic: I am not qualified enough to judge English language. --Altenmann >talk 05:58, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
