Improving earlier history of Epiphone company

[edit]

As it stands just now, I find the coverage of the earlier history of the Epiphone company somewhat inadequate - they made very well known archtop guitars through the 1930s-50s that rivalled Gibsons, and since the Gibson takeover on 1957 maintained a separate and well regarded suite of both acoustic and electric instruments (the latter hollowbody and solidbody) that had their own distinct identities and followers. Over the next few days I may do some additions along these lines, please bear with me until these are complete. Tony 1212 (talk) 06:21, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

OK, I have had a stab at "guitars"... banjos and basses may have to wait for additional inspiration, or another editor!! Tony 1212 (talk) 06:46, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
