In the meanwhile: it’s a good policy to have a survey of dates from sources in articles about time periods; for smaller mentions (ex. at the start of “Atenism under Akhenaten” here: “Amenhotep IV, the son of Amenhotep III, was crowned king c. 1353 BC.”) circa is your best friend

The Hebrew month Aviv/Abib (now, Nisan) maybe came from Ancient Egyptian month Epipi. / You shouldn't think about the Coptic month Epip (Abib!). Only the name came from the Ancient Egyptian language./ Epipi began in April (Gregorian). Böri (talk) 08:08, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
You don't really have any idea what you're talking about and have apparently misread something or gotten ahold of a fringe or unreliable source. Parts of the Hebrew calendar possibly derive from the lunar Egyptian one. The entire Coptic calendar is precisely the modern form of the Egyptian calendar after Augustus's reforms, before which the months rotated and had no set Gregorian equivalent.—LlywelynII15:59, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
