Incomplete sentence

@Castleditor: Greetings! It looks like in this edit, among other things you added the partial sentence: "The glory of Enmerkar comes from his". Do you remember how that was supposed to end, or should this be trimmed? Thanks, Beland (talk) 04:55, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

Aratta

In a link (on the right), Aratta is called "Iraq". It should be changed to "Iran", and the link changed to Iran. Leser4000 (talk) 15:03, 4 May 2025 (UTC)

Date Contradiction

The first paragraph says he lived around approximately 2750 BCE. An infobox on his campaign to Aratta dates this to 3250 BCE. Unless the scholarly consensus is that re reigned for more than 500 years, this appears to be an error. ~2026-16066-77 (talk) 23:15, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

These are the "ballpark figures" of two very different "scholars", students, or possibly wikipedians... being as he is just past the edge of recorded history and considered a founder of Uruk, "scholarly consensus" moves much more slowly and is only now just barely starting to come to terms with the possibility of his actual existence. Over the last century widely differing estimates might come out from year to year depending largely on the personal views of the individual scholar, but we are far from a genuine "consensus", more like the opposite of one, which will obviously be the most annoying hobgoblin to those minds who need to force a "consensus" on every single thing, to lovingly hold their hand and give them permission to think the same as others do along with the "groupthink"...
