I'm asking for a citation

[edit]

for the sentence "2008 is the first time endaka has caused a worldwide recession, instead of a Japanese recession" because these seems doubtful. It seems more likely that that other factors such as the financial crisis on Wall Street and high oil prices caused the worldwide recession. I have never heard anyone suggest that Endaka caused it.

- **Agreed. Declaring that endaka is the cause of the world-wide recession is a huge claim that I've never heard before. This article needs to be fixed, clarified, cited, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.248.161.45 (talk) 03:13, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Troughs are endaka"

[edit]

The caption on the graph for the yen's REER on this page says that "troughs are endaka," but the description in Japanese once you click on the graph says that "higher numbers represent greater endaka." One peak in the graph is around the old all-time high in the yen in the mid-90s, so that makes some sense. Is the caption on this page incorrect? Dekimasuよ! 17:00, 11 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
