Why does the definition require encapsulating higher layer into lower layer? AFAIK encapsulation can also be performed in the same layer, like IP over IP or in general GRE Danielcohn 20:52, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

It says we need to add more citations for this article, but there is no doubts about encapsulation, there is also a link that we explain it very well, even better from here--CONFIQ (talk) 13:47, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

strange mix of UDP and TCP in explanation
