Credit for The Empathy Map
[edit]The original Empathy Map was developed around 2005 by Scott Matthews, who served as Partner and Creative Director at XPLANE from 2004 to 2010. Initially referred to as the "Big Head" map, it focused only on "seeing, thinking, and hearing." The term "Empathy Map" was later popularized by Dave Gray.
