Possible need for semi-protection

[edit]

I have a feeling that with A Minecraft Movie released now it may be a good idea for semi-protection. Cocacolafan11 (talk) 22:26, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

You can ask for page protection here although Wikipedia doesn't do preemptive protection. Knitsey (talk) 22:28, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Birthdate

[edit]

Hi!

I am unable to find any proper text-based reliable reference that state her birthdate, as per WP:RS and WP:PSTS. There are some tertiary / fandom links that state it, just like the names of her parents. This is not even mentioned anywhere on her only social media handle, Instagram. The interviews and many other news references do mention her age only. However, there are some secondary social media references available:

Incorrect claim about being bilingual.

[edit]

Hi! Under personal life it states that she is bilingual. Emma has explicitly confirmed that she only speaks a “little” Korean. She has never claimed to be fluent or bilingual in any of her real-life interviews. She also used a professional translator during a press conference. I am new on the Wiki and this is my first talk. Excuse any confusion.

@Moonwh1sp3rz: Thank you for highlighting. I have currently removed it. Anyone who wants to re-add must comply WP:ONUS. M. Billoo 21:59, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

June 2026

[edit]

Hi Ordinaryisabel, thank you for your contributions on this article. Just a few quick suggestions though, you can consider merging the current religion info into her Early life section, instead of creating a seperate one as per WP:OVERSECTION. Also, that it is not a relevant wikipedia info as per the WP:BLPPRIVACY, so it does not need to be highlighted independently. Thank you! M. Billoo 06:14, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Also, that the Enid Sinclair article is now live, you can consider copying a little reception from there as well. Just like a reception has been added for Pippa Fitz-Amobi. I think it would further justify the term breakthrough. M. Billoo 06:20, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Also, that the reference which supports her birthdate appears to be not complying WP:RSP and WP:PSTS. It seems a tertiary article which quotes other primary and secondary references. Not denying the #Birthdate, but wikipedia needs a strong reference for BLPPRIVACY purposes. M. Billoo 06:30, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

As per MOS:LEAD, the lead section should reflect the article body. It currently says "the Netflix series Wednesday (2022–present) [...] A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (2024–present)". But, there is no prose within the body which could support that the series are still ongoing. Can you please add that context as well, considering AGGGTM S2 is just released and Wednesday S3 is under production? Thank you! M. Billoo 06:42, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please can you also check and clarify the difference between "brand endorsement" and "brand partnership"? I think that Myers had endorsed the brands instead of partnering with them. Also, I think that Myers is with Samsung Galaxy S series specifically, not with Samsung Electronics in whole. Thank you! M. Billoo 06:47, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

thanks for the feedback! i'll definitely see what i can do for all of these (if someone doesn't beat me to them). as for the samsung thing, i figured it'd be best to use the same wording as forbes bc it's the only source that wasn't itself a samsung ad. thanks for telling me about the enid article too, it was pretty barren when i last checked :)) Ordinaryisabel (talk) 13:30, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • @Ordinaryisabel: Hi. A previous revision of this page had the context to the Lady Gaga's concert . But, it is not present now. I see it as a notable and viral song + dance performance, and you can add it back with WP:DUE reception of the dance performance in the series as well . Thank you! M.
