Can be found in chapter II of Mark Twain's Pudd'nhead Wilson, as one of a series of small, slightly valuable objects a household of the antebellum American South would usually possess. And obviously a word which Mark Twain took for one being generally understood by his readers. --BjKa (talk) 18:44, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
