How long can I eat a high calorie bar for? I mean could i substitute half a 2400 calorie bar for my food everyday? would bad things happen to my guts. Im in college and have adhd. This combination makes it hard for me to eat enough to be healthy could i just eat these bars?

But the bars carried in life rafts are pretty horrible... we get to taste them as part of the sea survival training now compulsory for many Australian offshore yachtsmen. Andrewa (talk) 20:07, 25 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Military usage

[edit]

It's common in the Australian Infantry to issue standard rations and emergency rations to be carried by troops eg each man to carry three days' standard rations and three days' emergency rations (order issued to troops proceding to the front line of the Kokoda Trail during WWII, from memory). The article should cover this usage. Andrewa (talk) 20:03, 25 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
