License?

The Wikipedia article right now says "License: GPL". The ECL webpage says "GNU Library General Public License". I would have simply edited this page to say "LGPL", but saw in the edit history:

Updated license terms: Is not LGPL, as per http://ecls.sourceforge.net/license.html

I checked the wayback machine, and it looks like ECL has been LGPL forever (or at least the past 8 years). What's the deal? Why do we think it's not LGPL? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.16.40.113 (talk) 04:13, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
