So I want to clean this article up, but the only information I've got about appending is my own personal research (e.g. looking through my junk filter and realizing that there are some very wrong entries in email appending databases based on the names and addresses used in the spam). Notability of title

Why does this article even exist? What is so noteworthy about a common data processing task of matching data from one data base with another's? The article doesn't provide any real references of notability, nor details of data processing techniques to achieve the stated goal successfully. If anything, this term is only meaningful in a very narrow definition of context. Seems like a good candidate for speedy delete. Kbrose (talk) 18:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the notability of the article raises some concerns. However, a quick google search does indicate the topic is specific and quite well discussed. Perhaps a merger into another article might be more appropriate? Icemotoboy (talk) 00:19, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
