Ellis Rab inspired Sideshow Bob from Simpsons
[edit]Kelsey Grammer, who shared the unlikely story behind how he landed the voice of Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons. 9 864 Kelsey recalls working as a painter and wallpaper hanger at 21, doing jobs for actor Ellis Rabb. Spending time around Ellis left a lasting impression, and years later, when Kelsey was asked to create a voice for Sideshow Bob, he instinctively drew from Ellis's precise, theatrical cadence.
